3. Digital Copywriters

4. Technical Copywriters

IV. Copywriter, Content Writer, and their Differences

Content writers create valuable, helpful, and engaging articles to attract potential customers, introducing them to the products and services of the brand. Content writing channels are blogs, websites, press releases, etc. Content marketing focuses on attracting the attention and interest of customers.

Copywriting requires the Copywriter to directly promote the brand, creating fascinating stories, stimulating personal desires, and encouraging readers to take action. Copywriting aims at the consumption of products and boosting sales.

V. Skills and Knowledge Needed to Be a Copywriter

Currently, in Vietnam, there is no formal training for the Copywriting profession. Individuals with knowledge and education in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, or writing skills from Literature, Languages are often preferred for recruitment.

Alternatively, you can take short courses in Marketing, Advertising, Copywriting, etc., to obtain a certificate and rely on your experience to create an appealing Portfolio.

Pursuing a career in copywriting requires you to equip yourself with a broad range of knowledge and continuously develop other necessary skills. Fundamentally, a copywriter needs the following knowledge and skills:
